I have been creating illustrations of fish for outdoor magazines,and for sale prints for over thirty years. These magazines include Field and Stream.Outdoor Life North American Fisherman,and recently Bassmaster and Bass Times. This trout illustration was used for scrapbook paper.
About John Dyess
John, a native of St. Louis, has a BFA from Washington University School of Fine Art. He is a painter, illustrator, photographer and teacher creating art and illustration. He has been self employed since 1980 and currently works with his wife, Carolyn, a graphic designer. Together they operate as Studio Dyess, LLC. His clients include many major corporations and companies throughout the United States, including Anheuser-Busch, Monsanto, General Electric, National Geographic Museum and the St. Louis Baseball Cardinals. He has been published in many widely distributed magazines such as Field & Stream, Outdoor Life, Sports Afield and TV Guide.
