The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. This image of a Sunflower is based on a photograph I took of a garden of Sunflowers at my daughter's home. I enhanced the photograph in the computer software Photoshop.
About John Dyess
John, a native of St. Louis, has a BFA from Washington University School of Fine Art. He is a painter, illustrator, photographer and teacher creating art and illustration. He has been self employed since 1980 and currently works with his wife, Carolyn, a graphic designer. Together they operate as Studio Dyess, LLC. His clients include many major corporations and companies throughout the United States, including Anheuser-Busch, Monsanto, General Electric, National Geographic Museum and the St. Louis Baseball Cardinals.
