Artist's Description

I chose a 'birds eye" view for this oil on canvas painting of vegetables. The shadows of the vegetables was very important to the design of the painting.The original painting was sold in a gallery.

John Dyess

John, a native of St. Louis, has a BFA from Washington University School of Fine Art. He is a painter, illustrator, photographer and teacher creating art and illustration. He has been self employed since 1980 and currently works with his wife, Carolyn, a graphic designer. Together they operate as Studio Dyess, LLC. His clients include many major corporations and companies throughout the United States, including Anheuser-Busch, Monsanto, General Electric, National Geographic Museum and the St. Louis Baseball Cardinals. He has been published in many widely distributed magazines such as Field & Stream, Outdoor Life, Sports Afield and TV Guide.
