Artist's Description

I found this stick in North Carolina while visiting my wife Carolyn's cousin Russ. His home was in the mountains and it was surrounded by woods. I brought the stick home to Missouri and took a digital photo of it and placed the photo in my computer. I converted the photo in photoshop to a black and white document. Using several filters I changed the black and white document into a look of a line drawing. I printed the blank and white image on bond paper and glued it to a mat board. I then I did more work on it with a 000 Rapidograph pen. I colored it with Luma and Dr. PhMartin's ink. The painting is 17.5" wide by 8.5" high.
