Description
I created this oil on canvas painting of Stan Musial hitting a home run at Sportsman Park in St. Louis while Stan Musial was alive. A friend of mine knew Stan's agent and set up a time to show my painting of Stan hitting a home run. It was based on a black and white photo of Stan. Stan said he would be willing to sign prints if we provided the prints. he would have gotten a percentage of the sold signed prints. The project didn't happen. The original painting was hung in the St. Louis Cardinals Hall of Fame museum for about five years.The original has been sold.
